Your conscious journey to well-being and flourishing

Our Story

In 2020, the world as we knew it changed forever; mental health issues became pervasive, the conversations around them became more frequent and the need for intervention became evident. Geetika took this opportunity by furthering her mindfulness education by becoming the first Mindfulness teacher in India, trained by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation, University of Oxford. Mindful foundation is the genesis of Geetika’s years of experience in the field along with her formal training by the OMF. The foundation aims to make mindfulness accessible to varied groups – workplaces, schools, lower income groups – in India. Our foundation will focus on integrating mindfulness using Buddhist traditions, ancient Indian wisdom, modern psychology and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). A combination of learnings, practices, behaviours from experts will ensure assimilation. It will enable us to teach the practice holistically and align this wisdom with the modern world.
The Mindful Foundation’s visual identity focuses on our five senses as they are an essential component of mindfulness. The five senses help us to take in our surroundings and to become keen observers. They are vital for slowing down, grounding ourselves and living in the moment.
